At BioMolTech, we want to contribute to making education more affordable to students and their families in every country of the world. Lead Finder licenses are provided for free to academic users who will use Lead Finder exclusively for teaching or non-commercial research purposes. The free academic license expressly prohibits operation of Lead Finder for commercial purposes, or in a service-bureau or like environment.

Free academic licenses are provided in the form of annual subscription with no support. Your academic status will be re-evaluated at each annual subscription renewal. If your status changes, or your research work has been commercialized, you will need to acquire a standard license at the time when such event occurs.

Free academic licenses are issued to individual research groups rather than an entire academic institution. The fact that another research group in your academic institution has received a free license of Lead Finder does not make you automatically eligible to receive a free license. Your status will be evaluated independently of any other research groups at your institution.

BioMolTech issues free academic licenses at its own discretion and judgement. We reserve the right to offer no explanation of the reasons if we decide to not issue a free academic license to you.

A free academic license comes with a HASP key that is part of the Lead Finder's license control system. You must have appropriate system privileges to install system drivers for the USB HASP key on the Windows or Linux computer system where Lead Finder is to be used. The detailed technical information about HASP keys and its system drivers is available at the manufacturer's website. You must agree to cover the cost of a HASP key provided to you. You will find information about the cost of a HASP key in the free academic license application form.
