Lead Finder is a commercial product and its operation requires a commercial license. All software license types described below are subject to the terms of the same End-User License Agreement (EULA).

The two main types of Lead Finder software licenses are:

CPU-locked licenses allow unlimited use of software on one CPU by anyone from the licensing organization. There is no limit on the concurrent use as long as all instances of the executable code are run on the same CPU. CPU-locked licenses are available in the form of perpetual licenses or subscriptions (time-limited licenses, typically one-year).

Utility-type licenses are issued for a predefined amount of software use. Within that amount of use, there is no limit on the number of people using the software or the number of CPUs the software is run on. Utility-type licenses are similar to prepaid phone cards: you pay only for the amount of service you need. Utility-type licenses are good in situations when you do not know how much you will use the software. With utility-type licenses, you have no risk of investing money into something that may not be used as expected. Utility-type license is also a statement of quality on our end. We work very hard to make Lead Finder produce good quality results when other software packages can't. We get paid when you choose Lead Finder over products of our competitors, and we don't get paid when you don't use Lead Finder. If you choose a competitor's product, you have no sunk cost of owning a product you do not use.

Unlimited site licenses can also be provided, however expect we will price them according to the size of your research facility.

Lead Finder software comes with either hardware-based, or software-based license control system. You will be required to install any applicable additional software and drivers and enter license keys to enable operation of the license control system. We acknowledge the additional work and inconvenience this may cause you. We do not like dealing with license control systems either. However, to protect interests of our loyal paying customers and our own interests, we have to have this system in place. We must keep the cheating guys away from using the software they have not licensed.

Annual support and maintenance plan is available for all license types except for free academic licenses. Annual support and maintenance plan includes technical support by e-mail or phone, software updates including bugfixes and minor improvements and software upgrades including new releases during the term of the support plan. The support plan for the first year is included in the price of a perpetual license. The support plan is automatically included in all subscriptions (time-limited licenses).
